Taking ICEPerf.com to the next level

ICEPerf.com has gone through a whole host of upgrades since we first launched it at JanusCon in April. ICE is a vital part of setting up WebRTC sessions, and any delay in that ultimately elongates session setup times. Monitoring the performance of everything that impacts ICE is something we as a community have not done much of. All of that changes with ICEPerf.com. AI Phone Calls

In this session we’ll show you how you can go and build your own AI voice agents using open source tooling that’s available today. By building on top of golang, we can build a scalable solution for handling thousands of calls completely independently to a media server such as FreeSWITCH or Asterisk.

Build on top of open source solutions as well as platforms that are pushing forward LLMs and text to speech in order to give users fantastic AI agent experiences. Remain in complete control of the user experience by building on top of open source.

Indiana Jones is a hero, right? Well, WebRTC is a hero too, right?

Time after time, Indiana defeats evil and saves the day. Time after time, WebRTC saves the day as well, connecting people during the pandemic and bringing together technologies for new purposes. I'm here to tell you that all is not what it seems, for WebRTC or Indiana.

We have got the wizardry, what now?

Why build any experience that isn't magical for your user? Building anything truly extraordinary used to be really difficult; but today we can do it in a few hundred lines of code. But can you truly say you're offering your users the most spellbinding experience possible? It's doable today but we're not doing it everywhere yet.

Natural Language processing, Real Time Image processing and speech recognition APIs; they’ve all moved forward at a rate of knots in the past couple of years. What used to require huge investment in hardware, software and talent is now available to everyone who can write a few hundred lines of code. Even though we have huge power at our fingertips with cloud and browser based APIs, we aren’t truly utilising this technology to make a meaningful difference to our customers, users and our businesses today. Building for tomorrow is difficult when we’re still thinking about yesterday. In this session you’ll learn about the APIs available to you today and how you can make a difference to what your applications are doing to build relationships with your users. Developing that connection with the user can be magical. Give your user magic.
